Shane, an Australian tourist, travelled to Ayodhya for Deepotsav after hearing about the festival from the Indian community in Malaysia. He is on a spiritual journey through India and visited Ayodhya before heading to Varanasi.

He was impressed by illuminated streets, LED screens, and cultural performances during the festival. Shane described Ayodhya as a city of positive energy and felt completely safe despite coming from Australia.

The construction of the Ram Temple and development initiatives in Ayodhya have increased its global recognition. Deepotsav attracts international tourists because of its grandeur and spiritual significance, and Shane called the preparations magnificent and enriching.

He noted that different cultures and traditions come together in harmony in Ayodhya, which contributes to its growing appeal as a destination for spiritual tourism.

Shane will stay in Ayodhya until Monday before heading to Varanasi. The rapid development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has further enhanced Ayodhya's global appeal.
