The Bengaluru-Goa Vande Bharat Express, expected to be flagged off this month, will be the slowest Vande Bharat service in India. The journey from Yeshwantpur to Madgaon is expected to take 12.20 hours, while the return trip from Madgaon to Yeshwantpur will take 12.55 hours.

The average speed of the train in the down direction will be 54 kmph, and 53 kmph in the up direction. This makes it slower than superfast trains, which currently hold the record for speed among Vande Bharat services.

The current fastest Vande Bharat Express is the Varanasi-New Delhi-Varanasi service, which has an average speed of 95 kmph. The longest-duration Vande Bharat service is the Pune-Ajni (Nagpur)-Pune route, which takes 12 hours to cover 882 km at an average speed of 73 kmph.
