Qatar Airways is reviewing its cabin strategy, with premium economy under serious consideration and a new first-class product in development. Group CEO Hamad Ali Al-Khater outlined these plans during a briefing in Sydney, confirming that the airline is exploring changes across its cabin classes as part of its growth strategy in Australia and beyond.
The airline has historically focused on delivering a premium economy experience through its standard economy class, but recent comments suggest a potential shift in approach. A new first-class concept is under design, though neither product has a confirmed launch date.
The airline is also preparing to introduce Qsuite Next Gen on its Airbus A350-1000 aircraft during the northern summer of 2027.
