Travel Retail Norway (TRN), a joint venture between Gebr. Heinemann and Norse-Trade, has secured a new contract to operate duty-free and single price shops at four Avinor airports.
The agreement runs from 2028 to 2036 and includes the development of new retail spaces at Oslo Airport. The new departure shop at Oslo will span 3,300 square metres, while the existing arrivals shop will remain the largest in Norway at 4,000 square metres.
The partnership between TRN and Gebr. Heinemann has been described as a key factor in the successful bid. The company highlighted the long-term collaboration and the value it brings to both the airports and passengers. The new contract is expected to continue enhancing the retail experience for travellers passing through these airports.
The development of the new departure shop at Oslo Airport reflects ongoing efforts to improve retail offerings for passengers. The existing flagship arrivals shop will remain a major retail destination in Norway.
