Construction of an elevated corridor has begun near Bengaluru's airport, shutting the main access road for 1.5 years starting November 6. The closure bars KSRTC and private buses as well as all goods vehicles from using the affected stretch, forcing motorists to seek alternate routes to reach the airport.

Additional diversions have been announced for those travelling from Yeshwanthpur toward central Bengaluru. These changes are part of a broader infrastructure project aimed at improving traffic flow in the area and will impact daily commuters and transport operations over the next 18 months.
